  I brought my car in to get new tires all around. The guy putting my tires on was on the cellphone while doing his work, and long story short, he didn't tighten the bolts on one of my wheels. I drove a couple blocks away and BOOM, my wheel popped off my car. I called the shop and told them what happened, and they sent some people over to check it out. They put the wheel back on using the two lug nuts we could find on the road (I was the one who had to run into traffic and pick them up), and they told me to drive back to the shop. I drove back (which I still don't think was a safe thing to do). At the shop, the owner didn't offer me a refund. He offered to give me an alignment to see if anything was wrong, which after my experience, I didn't trust him to do. I told him in private the guy who did the work hadn't even apologized, in fact, he laughed and said he tightened it for sure. When the boss asked him to apologize on the side, I heard him say "Are you serious?" He never apologized, and the boss never pushed him to do so. I asked the boss if in addition to an alignment, a refund was in order, as nothing like this has ever happened to me and I really didn't know if that was protocol for this situation. He gave me a snarky look, paused, and told me he'd give me a refund, but then he wouldn't give me the alignment, and if he refunded me he wanted me to "leave and call it even." He wanted to not hear from me again. They assured me over and over after looking at the car that no serious damage was done, and that the car was absolutely fine. The wheel was all bored out where it bolts on (medal shavings were everywhere, and the holes on the wheel were oval shaped), my brake rotor and caliper were all scraped up, my fender liner was cracked open, some suspension parts were scraped up. He told me they were only minor cosmetic things that I shouldn't worry about. Absolutely ridiculous. He told me if I wanted the alignment, to come in the following Monday. Needless to say I told him fine, and filed an insurance claim. When I backed out of the lot, the guy who had messed up and forgot to bolt on the wheel (who I never spoke to) stood dead center of the drive and gave me a death stare. He didn't cut the thousand yard stare until I was pulling on to the road. He was trying to intimidate me, as if I had inconvenienced HIM! Again, all I can say is, ridiculous. The REPUTABLE repair shop I took it to quoted over $3000 dollars worth of damage, and told me it was dangerous for me to have even driven it to them. Did Rossi's care about my safety or life? No, they just wanted to save a buck and some trouble. I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE who values integrity or honesty, or quite frankly their lives. The way they run business in times like these is a true testament to the integrity and character of this place, and there quality of work is poor. If I had received an apology and fair and sincere treatment, there is no way I'd be writing any of this, I am a very, very, reasonable person. I still can't believe the treatment I received at this place. I'm a very nice guy, I never yelled at them, never asked for anything unfair, never even lost my temper. I asked them what they thought was appropriate for me to do, and their answer was basically, "drive off in that unsafe car and we don't want to hear from you again." They thought they could take advantage of my timid nature and intimidate me into doing nothing. If the wheel had come off on the highway, I could have been killed, this is not a shop I would feel comfortable going to. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE! They are nothing but TROUBLE
